The main charge of the Younger Adults is to incorporate the youth of the church with a since of belonging to the larger body of the church. The Younger Adults believe that the true life blood of any church is how the youth are groomed for roles of leadership and success.
One of the major fundraisers of the Younger Adults is the bi-annual Pancake Breakfast. This happens in April and November each year.
Each month after mass on the second Sunday of the month the Younger Adults show a movie in Zimmerman Hall. The movies aid in the fellowship and family atmosphere.
Each fall the Younger adults visit an orchard for apple and pumpkin picking. There is fun for all who come out to relive their youth climbing trees and running through corn mazes. There are also the scary trips to the various Haunted Houses and place to add a chill to the autumn air.
Each summer the Younger Adults plan trips to campsites or other places for summertime adventure. It is a time to unplug and go to a time before smart phones and computers. A time to get closer to GOD.
The Younger Adults go out to tree farms, take horse drawn carriage rides, cut down evergreen trees and bring them back to the church. The annual greening of the church goes so much better with the smell of fresh cut pine in the air.
